  3. The same commands that you use in the Finder work in SpeedShare. Most "commands" in SpeedShare are just dragging files from one place to another, just like the Finder. Although SpeedShare windows are not Finder windows, files can be moved or copied between them by a click and a drag.

SpeedShare Pro is incredibly fast for file transfers over local area networks. For example, large files can be transferred over 10 base T Ethernet at about 1 MByte/sec, and over 100 base T Ethernet at > 8 MBytes/sec.  Your actual file transfer performance will depend upon the speed of your computers and the speed of your disk drives.

  11. SpeedShare users can be assigned an individual folder, so that they see only the contents of their folder when they connect.

  15. Because SpeedShare Pro uses TCP/IP, the protocol of the Internet, access from any Macintosh on the Internet is built-in.
